Suretank, the Irish manufacturer of cargo carrying units and tanks to the offshore industry, has signed a four-year deal with Halliburton to supply all of its offshore equipment in Latin America.
Containers, baskets, tanks, skids, workshops and tool boxes will be amongst some of the equipment manufactured and supplied by Suretank’s Latin America facility located in Caxias do Sul in Southern Brazil.
Marco Pfeiffer , CEO Suretank Latin America, explained: “The favourable exchange rate means that products manufactured in Brazil for the local market are much more competitively priced than those sourced in Europe or Asia.”
Suretank Latin America also offers drilling, well workover and oil production services. The recent global acquisition of Prior Diesel in the UK means that it has now expanded its product line to include wireline equipment.
