CorPower Ocean, a Swedish wave energy developer, is recruiting for a modeling and control engineer who will assist in the development of the company’s wave energy converters.

Job responsibilities involve managing modeling activities with regard to performance, performing batch simulations and analyzing the data and results for annual basis, as well as model calibration and validation with measured data.

Also, the successful candidate will be tasked with studying hydrodynamic performance of the buoy, carrying out thorough investigations on model parameters for the buoy and PTO, and supporting pilot installations in the field with implementing control, amongst other things.

The candidates should have B.Sc. or a M.Sc. degree in engineering (mechanical, energy), physics, math (numerical background), naval architecture, or related disciplines, and relevant experience in time domain of numerical modeling and data analysis.

The deadline for applications is set for January, 31, 2016.
