Fugro, a Netherlands-based provider of geotechnical, survey and subsea services, has been awarded a five-year contract for the provision of underwater services to Total E&P UK Limited (TEP UK).
Under the contract, Fugro will be providing ROV inspection, repair and maintenance services on TEP UK pipelines, subsea assets and jackets.
The contract runs from July 2015 and includes extension options for a further two years. Prior to this contract, Fugro had undertaken an ROV campaign for Total in the Central Graben area in July 2015.
The company utilised the ROV support vessel Atlantis Dweller and its two permanently mobilised ROV systems to perform works which included cathodic protection, flooded member detection and high-pressure water jetting services.
