MAN Diesel & Turbo’s Swedish unit revealed it will acquire the marine fuel gas supply system business from Gothenburg-based Cryo AB, part of the Linde Group.
The FGSS business will be integrated into the company’s four-stroke marine business, MAN Diesel & Turbo said in a statement on Thursday.
Uwe Lauber, CEO of MAN Diesel & Turbo said, the acquisition allows the company to further shape its profile in the dual-fuel and liquefied natural gas propulsion segment.
The transaction is scheduled to be closed in February 2016, the statement reads.
