HitecVision, a private equity investor specialized in buyouts and growth-stage investments in the oil and gas industry, has bought shares in Prosafe, a provider of semi-submersible accommodation vessels.
North Sea Strategic Investments AS, a company managed by HitecVision, has on November 19, 2015 sold 80,000 shares in Prosafe SE and entered into a forward contract of 300.000 shares with settlement on December 7, 2015.
Following the transactions, North Sea Strategic Investments AS holds 23,598,876 shares in Prosafe, representing approximately 10% of the issued shares and votes in the company.
Last week, North Sea Strategic Investments also bought shares in Kvaerner, a Norway-based engineering and construction services company.
