Gazprom Marketing & Trading reportedly canceled the sale and purchase deal it had with Pacific Rubiales to import liquefied natural gas from Colombia.
According to the initial deal signed at the end of last year, Gazprom M&T agreed to purchase 0.5 mtpa of LNG from an offshore LNG terminal located in Tolu, on the Caribbean coast of Colombia.
Gazprom M&T Singapore was supposed to offtake the agreed volume for a period of four years.
However, Reuters cited Gazprom M&T’s executive director of LNG, oil and shipping, Frederic Bernaud saying the relationship has not been continued, confirming the cancelation of the deal.
