AS Tallink Grupp’s unit, Tallink Superfast recently completed the ownership transfer of the fast ferry Superstar to Medinvest.
Under the agreement signed in November, Tallink Grupp will receive EUR 91.5 million that will mainly be used to repay loans and for the down payment of the new LNG fast ferry currently under construction, Tallink’s statement reveals.
Tallink Grupp will continue to operate the Superstar on the Tallinn-Helsinki route Shuttle service under the charter agreement until the beginning of 2017, when the new LNG fast ferry will start to operate on the same route.
