Ingen Ideas, an Amec Foster Wheeler company, has landed a five-year multi-discipline engineering contract, worth approximately £8 million ($12 million) with Marathon Oil.

The contract started in October 2015. It covers Marathon Oil’s Brae Complex in the North Sea and it has potential for two further five-year extensions.

It covers subsea and topsides, including onshore operations support, projects and modifications engineering, as well as technical consultancy.

“This is the first contract award of this scale for Ingen. It signifies how in the current economic climate, Ingen’s approach to consultancy engineering, with the global support of Amec Foster Wheeler, can add value by being agile, responsive and proportionate to the exact requirements of the project,” said Wayne Strachan , Ingen general manager.
