New president for Shell Nederland

Hague-based gas and oil giant on Monday named Marjan Van Loon as the new president of Shell Nederland effective January 2016.

Hague-based gas and oil giant Shell named Marjan Van Loon as the new president of Shell Nederland effective January 2016.

Van Loon replaces Dick Benschop who has been appointed as VP of joint ventures excellence at Shell International, the company said in a statement on Monday.

She is currently vice president LNG & integrated gas in Shell projects & technology, responsible for technical support to LNG projects, including new business opportunities.

In her current capacity, Van Loon is responsible for all technical aspects of the LNG developments within Shell, including the Prelude floating LNG project and LNG as transportation fuel.
