Alfa Laval’s heat exchangers ordered for U.S. LNG plant

Swedish heat transfer technology specialist, Alfa Laval on Wednesday said it has won an order to supply compact heat exchangers to an LNG plant in the United States.

Swedish heat transfer technology specialist, Alfa Laval on Wednesday said it has won an order to supply heat exchangers to an LNG plant in the United States.

The order is valued at SEK 60 million (approximately US$7 million) with the delivery of the compact heat exchangers for a processing and liquefaction facility in the United States is scheduled for 2016, Alfa Laval said in a statement.

Lars Renström, President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group said this is a repeat order from a U.S. customer.

The heat exchangers contribute to “ energy efficiency as they recover and reuse heat during the gas-cleaning process ,” according to Alfa Laval.
