World’s largest LNG producer, Qatargas said it has for the first time this year delivered a Q-Flex cargo between multiple ports for a single customer.

This method of delivery sets a “ new benchmark ” against the established industry practice of loading a single cargo for delivery to a single location, Qatargas informed in a statement issued on Monday.

According to the statement, the 210,000 cbm Q-Flex vessel Al Safliya delivered in March a single cargo split between the United Arab Emirates and India.

In August, the Q-Flex Al Aamriya delivered a single cargo split between the Chinese terminals of Fujian and Tianjin, while in December, the Q-Flex Duhail brought the third single cargo split between Zhejiang and Tianjin in China, the statement added.
