Noble Group closes first Asia Pacific LNG supply deal

Hong Kong-based commodity trading house, Noble Group, said it has signed a deal to supply LNG cargoes to an Asia Pacific region end customer.

Hong Kong-based commodity trading house, Noble Group, said it has signed a deal to supply LNG cargoes to an Asia Pacific region end customer.

The company informed in a statement on Wednesday that its first LNG supply contract in Asia Pacific is on a delivered ex-ship (DES) basis.

According to Noble Group, LNG cargoes will be delivered by 2020 and sourced from its global portfolio.

Gareth Griffiths, Global Head of Power, Gas and Carbon trading, Noble Group , said the company’s global LNG business has reached 2 million tonnes in less than 18 months of operations.

Name of the end user or further details about the terms of the LNG supply contract have not been revealed.
