Australia’s Santos said that its US$18.5 billion GLNG project has shipped its tenth cargo of liquefied natural gas last week.

Thenamaris-operated LNG tanker Cool Voyager, with a capacity of 160,000 cbm, is expected to arrive in South Korea around January 26, shipping data shows.

Production from the first GLNG train commenced in September of 2015. The first cargo produced at the 7.8 mtpa LNG plant on Curtis Island was delivered in October to Kogas’ Pyeong Taek terminal in South Korea.

First LNG from Train 2 is expected in the second quarter of 2016.

Santos has a 30% interest in GLNG. Other co-venturers include Petronas (27.5%), Total (27.5%) and Kogas (15%).
