Norfolk Marine Ltd has completed the first phase of a three year framework agreement with E.on Climate & Renewables UK Offshore Wind Ltd to provide subsea inspection services to Scroby Sands offshore wind farm.

A full assessment of the condition of all subsea structures on the site is being carried out to ensure the long term integrity of the monopile foundations.

The inspection contract covers seabed scour, coatings condition, cathodic protection condition and steel thickness readings along with a general condition assessment.

The contract is being carried out as a turn key service package utilising the company’s own vessels, specialist dive teams and in house NDT inspection equipment.

The dive team and the vessel crew completed 80% of the contracted works during the first year of the campaign.
