Inspecta, a provider of inspections, testing, certification, technical consultancy and training services, has inked a framework agreement with Norway’s Agility Subsea Fabrication.

Inspecta will provide non-destructive testing (NDT) services performed by shipyards in Tønsberg and Røra. According to the company, the scope of the agreement applies to both NDT and cleanroom laboratory.

“There are challenging times in the oil and gas, therefore it is very gratifying to note that Inspecta is competitive in a market that is undergoing major changes. This agreement will in future be important for several of our locations. The agreement helps to ensure a substantial volume at several offices in Norway,” says managing director of Inspecta Norway, Lasse Øvreås .

According to Øvreås, this is the biggest inspection contract Inspecta has signed in Norway for several years.
