JDR, a subsea technology and service provider to the offshore energy industry, has appointed Rob Hastings and Alan Wilson as Non-Executive Directors.

Hastings is currently Executive Director of the corporate management board at The Crown Estate, which is a public corporation with extensive urban, rural and offshore property holdings.

He is directly responsible for the Energy & Infrastructure portfolio, constituting the Crown Estates’ property rights over the UK’s seabed, an area equivalent to three times the UK’s land mass.

Wilson brings over 30 years of experience in the offshore subsea sector. He is currently a Non-Executive Chairman of a number of businesses, including Pressure Technologies, Rimor Limited and Modern Water.

Pat Herbert , the Executive Chairman of the JDR Board of Directors, said: “Rob Hastings and Alan Wilson add a wealth of experience to our already highly experienced board of directors. We will all look forward to working closely with both of these seasoned executives as they bring the benefit of their knowledge, experience, perspective and networks in support of JDR’s continued growth.”
