JULONG, a Chinese manufacturer of dredging, mining and sand processing equipment, has completed delivery of a new cutter suction dredger to India.
The new dredger was named CSD SHARAT and will be put up to the test at its first dredging job in Mumbai.
This JL-CSD300 type dredger has a suction pipe diameter of 350mm and discharge pipe diameter of 300mm.
It is equipped with a powerful 750HP Cummins diesel engine which can easily cover discharge distance of 1500 meters.
The dredger was delivered with a series of optional equipment like deck crane, swivel bend, floating pipeline and the two-year spare parts package.
