WaveEL wave energy buoy has left the Swedish town Falkenburg following the completion of the assembly operation.

The buoy has been moved on the barge heading to Eriksberg quayside, Gothenburg, where it will be outfitted with the remaining parts.

Waves4Power, the company behind WaveEL buoy , will have an open public viewing of its WaveEL at Eriksberg’s quayside during February 5-6, 2016.

Following the viewing, the Olympic Zeus, one of Norway’s largest offshore vessels, will pick up the wave energy system for transport to Ålesund, Norway, close to Runde test site, where Waves4Power plans to deploy WaveEL device for testing in the following months.
