Scotrenewables Tidal Power, the developer of SR2000 floating tidal turbine, is looking to expand its team as the company moves to the commercialization of its floating tidal energy technologies.

Scotrenewables Tidal Power, the developer of SR2000 floating tidal turbine, is looking to expand its team as the company moves to the commercialization of its floating tidal energy technologies.

With its SR2000 2 MW floating tidal turbine nearing completion , the Orkney-based Scotrenewables is expanding its team with several job positions available.

The company is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer whose responsibilities, amongst others, include specification, design, procurement, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of electronic/contol, electromechanical and electrical systems up to 1000V. It is a full-time position, based in Orkney.

Scotrenewables is also looking for Control/Instrumentation Engineer who would support the Senior Control Engineer in the design and implementation of tidal turbine control system hardware and software, in addition to other responsibilities.

In addition, the company is seeking Senior Finance Manager to join senior management and assist the company company in commercialising its floating tidal energy technology. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, main responsibilities of the Senior Finance Manager include planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company, include the development of financial management and spending control procedures.
