Jiangsu Zhongtian Technology (ZTT) has won a contract to supply subsea cables for the 300MW Huaneng Rudong offshore wind farm.
Huaneng Tendering awarded ZTT with the contract to supply 35kV and 110kV subsea cables for the wind farm situated in the East China Sea, off Jiangsu Province. The wind farm is developed and owned by China Huaneng Group.
The value of the contract is CNY 240 million (EUR 33 million), and the cables are expected to be delivered during 2016.
The 300 MW Huaneng Rudong OWF will comprise 50 4MW and 20 5MW turbines covering an area of 82 square kilometers, some 15 kilometers off the coast and in the depths of up to 18 meters.
