UK-based Chariot Oil & Gas, the oil and gas exploration company focused on the Atlantic margins, has completed its 3D seismic survey in Blocks 2312 & 2412A offshore Namibia.
The survey started in January 2016. Chariot’s partners in the project are AziNam, NAMCOR and Ignitus who hold 20%, 10% and 5% stake, respectively.
The survey comprised approximately 2,600km² of data and was conducted by PGS Exploration (UK) Limited.
Chariot said this survey targeted several significant leads within the Upper Cretaceous deep water clastic turbidite system. The data will now be processed and then interpreted in-house.
