Aberdeen-based LNG engineer Wood Group revealed on Monday it has won a contract from Woodside for the detailed design of the Greater Western Flank Phase 2 flowline system.

Besides the design, Wood Group Kenny will support the related procurement and construction processes under the contract, the company said in a statement.

Wood Group recently completed the front-end engineering design (FEED) for the GWF-2 flowline.

The GWF-2 project, located on the North West Shelf, offshore Western Australia, is the next phase in delivering gas supplies to the existing NWS infrastructure, including the LNG terminal.

The project will develop the resources of the Keast, Dockrell, Sculptor, Rankin, Lady Nora and Pemberton fields through the existing Goodwyn A platform.
