Resolute Marine Ltd (RML), the Irish subsidiary of US-based wave energy developer Resolute Marine Energy, won the ‘EIP Water got talents award’ at the European Innovation Platform for Water conference in Leeuwarden, Netherlands.

A panel of judges from world-class water companies and investment firms such as SUEZ and SKION chose from a large pool of SMEs from across Europe and selected one winner that has generated innovative solutions and technologies with the highest market potential for water resource management, RML’s press release reads.

Olivier Ceberio , RME’s Chief Operating Officer, said: “We’re extremely honored to have received this award. Europe is a world leader in water industries so we are particularly proud of this award as it comes from a highly respected source. Furthermore, Europe plays a key role in our business development strategy and we hope this award will pave the way for more initiatives and collaborations with European partners.”

The European Innovation Partnership on Water is an initiative within the EU 2020 Innovation Union that aims to speed up innovations that contribute to solving societal challenges, enhance Europe’s competitiveness and contribute to job creation and economic growth.
