Olympic Ship has secured contracts with undisclosed international contractors for its vessels Olympic Zeus and Olympic Hera, the company informed on Monday.

The vessel M/V Olympic Zeus has been chartered for a period of up 9 weeks, including options. The vessel will be carrying out project work in West Africa.

The Olympic Hera will carry out the work in Trinidad & Tobago for an estimated contract period of 8 weeks.

Both 93.8 meters long ships are designated as anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) and offshore construction vessels (OCVs). Olympic Hera is equipped with a 200 HP Merlin WR200 electrical work-class ROV and 350 tons A-Frame ready for mobilisation.

The Olimpic Zeus is also equipped with Merlin WR200 and has an additional 250t offshore crane setup.

In addition, two AHTS vessels, Olympic Hercules and Olympic Pegasus, have also been contracted for the project work in West Africa for up to 24 weeks, including options.

According to the Norwegian vessel owner, the contracts are with immediate effect.
