South Hook LNG terminal located on the shores of the Milford Haven waterway is set for another cargo of Qatari liquefied natural gas next week.

According to the shipping data, one of the world’s largest LNG carriers, the 266,000 cbm Mozah is on its way from the Qatari port of Ras Laffan and is scheduled to dock at the South Hook terminal’s jetty on March 6.

This will be the second delivery of liquefied natural gas to the South Hook terminal in a period of five days.

Mozah, the first Q-max LNG carrier, was built at the Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard on Geoje island and delivered to its owner Nakilat in 2008.

The South Hook terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic metres of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
