Natural Power, an independent renewable energy consultancy, has named Neil Douglas as Director of Levelised Cost of Energy (LCoE).

The role of Director of LcoE has been created in response to market dynamics, and will work across the entire Natural Power business in the UK and internationally throughout all sectors and phases in order to add value through advice and expertise, the consultancy said.

Neil Douglas said: “Since 2014 Natural Power has been assessing and planning for the market changes in respect of driving the optimisation of renewables and infrastructure projects and the effective control of costs through the project life-cycle.

“This new role is to ensure that we can deliver services in a rapidly evolving international market for renewables and infrastructure. We will continue to innovate and help support and advise our clients with the LCoE backdrop of ensuring that low carbon energy technologies can compete in the wider energy market.”

Natural Power stated the appointment reflects its long-term strategy to to support clients in achieving their operational efficiency and competitiveness objectives.
