RasGas of Qatar said that on March 5 it has delivered the 500th liquefied natural gas cargo to CPC Corporation, Taiwan under the long-term contract.
The company said in its statement on Tuesday that the 147,546 cbm Taitar No. 4 LNG carrier loaded the cargo on March 5 at the Ras Laffan port.
RasGas and CPC signed a long-term supply deal in 2011 under which the Qatari company is delivering over five million tons per year to Taiwan.
Since 2007, RasGas has also delivered 72 spot cargoes to CPC, Taiwan or approximately 4.4 million tons of LNG.
