Global Maritime Deep Sea Mooring (GM DSM) has received its first shipment of mooring equipment into Singapore.

According to the company, the first shipment consists of R5 chains, Stevpris Mk6 anchors, steel wire rope for mooring inserts and riser wires, MoorLink swivels, surface/subsurface buoyancy units and other mooring equipment.

Wolfgang Wandl , CEO of GM Mooring Group, said: “GM DSM supplies pre‐laid mooring services for drilling campaigns worldwide, recently and ongoing in Australia, Norway, Egypt and Canada. Investing in top quality equipment for Singapore will allow us to serve all our clients immediate needs.”

In January this year, GM DSM expanded to a new yard in Singapore. The facility should provide rental and sale of mooring equipment and also increase its service coverage in the oil & gas, renewables and coastal & civil market in the Asia Pacific.
