EdgeTech has released a new towed sonar system providing tri-frequency side scan sonar, sub-bottom profiling and MPES bathymetry.
The new 2300 system is designed for deep water combined sonar operations.
Sub-bottom profiler capabilities have been expanded on the new 2300 and include the ability to incorporate up to four low frequency transducers as part of EdgeTech’s DW-106 (1-10kHz) deep penetration system.
EdgeTech’s Multi Phase Echo Sounder (MPES) bathymetry is also available on the system, the company noted.
