Peru’s only LNG export facility in Pampa Melchorita has recently sent a cargo of chilled gas to France.
According to the information revealed by state-owned Perupetro, Teekay’s 145,500 cbm LNG carrier Hispania Spirit loaded on March 13 at the export facility and headed for France.
Perupetro has not revealed the exact destination of the vessel, however, the last two vessels shipped to France were unloaded at the Elengy-operated Fos Cavaou LNG terminal situated on the Cavaou peninsula in Fos-sur-Mer. Both cargoes have been shipped in August 2015.
With the departure of Hispania Spirit, the Peruvian LNG export facility dispatched 314 cargoes since it started operations in June 2010.
