Wind Minds B.V., Doarm Engineering Co. Ltd., and Haechun Corporation will launch a new renewable energy company with a focus on offshore and onshore wind energy projects at the Green Energy Expo 2016 in Daegu, Korea, scheduled to take place between 6 and 9 April.

The new joint-venture company, Wind Minds Korea, will provide its clients with engineering and consulting services in the field of renewable energy. The company will also take on similar roles within projects developed jointly by its parent companies.

“We expect that the company will play a leading role in facilitating the emerging Korean offshore wind market” said to Mr. Oh, founder of Doarm Engineering and Director of Wind Minds Korea.

Wind Minds Korea will be able to provide full scale consulting and engineering services throughout all stages of offshore wind projects, from feasibility studies to operations & maintenance strategy. The company is already working on a number of offshore projects near the coast of Jeju Island.

Hans Rijntalder, co-founder of Wind Minds Korea said: “We will bring more than 15 years of offshore wind experience to Korea and, combined with the profound local knowledge of the Korean companies, we will be able to offer high quality services.”
