Archer has been awarded a five-year contract by ConocoPhillips for the provision of mechanical wireline services for the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

The contract was awarded to Archer following a tender process for ConocoPhillips’ well intervention services in Norway.

Archer has provided wireline intervention and cased hole logging services for ConocoPhillips since 2009 and the current contract would have expired in January 2017. The new contract will start on May 1, 2016 and will last until April 30, 2021.
