One of the world’s leading trade fairs for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles and construction equipment, bauma 2016 opened its doors to visitors this morning.
At this seven-day event, taking place between April 11 and 17, 2016, over 3,400 exhibitors will be showcasing their latest products and innovations.
All branches of industry and sectors are represented at the fair in four categories, i.e. construction machinery, building-material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles and equipment.
The event is taking place at the Messe München exhibition center with opening times starting at 9:30 to 18:30 (Monday-Friday); Saturday: 8:30 to 18:30; and Sunday: 9:30 to 16:30.
The first bauma took place in 1954 and occupied 20,000 square meters. Since that time, bauma has grown enormously, and in 2013 it took up 575,000 square meters.
