Woodside Energy Trading Singapore, unit of the Australian LNG player Woodside, on Wednesday signed heads of agreement with Indonesia’s Pertamina for long-term supply of liquefied natural gas.
According to Woodside’s statement, the agreement is for approximately 0.5 to 1 million tons of LNG per year from the company’s liquefied natural gas portfolio.
The supplies would start in 2019 and go on for a period of 15 to 20 years.
The HOA remains conditional until a fully termed LNG sales and purchase agreement is negotiated and executed, Woodside said, adding that the deal also needs the approval of the boards of both companies.
