Glassfiber Produkter has been awarded a contract from Aker Solutions as part of its Total Kaombo project in Angola.
Kaombo is one of the world’s largest subsea developments, located in Block 32 about 150 kilometers off the coast of Angola.
According to the company, the contract will see Glassfiber Produkter deliver GRP Half shells, protection covers and EFL deployment frame.
The contract is approximately 10 million NOK and will have immediate start of engineering.
The first part of the delivery is scheduled for June this year.
