Guidance Marine has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sonardyne Brazil to provide support for its Artemis product in Brazil.
Under the terms of the MoU, Sonardyne will be able to carry out equipment servicing and repair for the Artemis system, a microwave position reference sensor for use in long range marine dynamic positioning (DP) applications.
Declan O’Dea , head of sales, Guidance Marine, said: “Adding Rio das Ostras to our existing international service and support centres in Aberdeen, New Orleans and Singapore, reaffirms our commitment to ongoing investment to support the Artemis product and positions us closer to the operational centre of our Brazilian customer base.”
He added: “The facilities on offer at Sonardyne’s premises and the knowledge of their technical team, is second-to-none.”
