Siemens Wind Power has awarded Aqualis Offshore with a contract for a series of assessments of a jack-up vessel in relation to maintenance operations that the vessel will perform on offshore wind turbines at a variety of wind farms in the North Sea.
Aqualis Offshore’s office in London, UK, will conduct a series of generic assessments to cover a range of water depths and environmental conditions where the vessel, chartered by Siemens, is scheduled.
“Our task is to help determine the criteria that a given jack-up vessel can operate most efficiently and safely within. We are proud to be able to support Siemens and the installation work of this vessel,” said David Wells , CEO of Aqualis Offshore.
The companies did not reveal the vessel’s name nor the value of the contract.
