OPT makes new Board appointments

US-based wave energy technology company, Ocean Power Technologies, has elected Steven Fludder, and Robert Winters to the company’s Board of Directors.

US-based wave energy technology company, Ocean Power Technologies (OPT), has elected Steven Fludder, and Robert Winters to the company’s Board of Directors.

Fludder brings more than 30 years of global executive leadership in energy and infrastructure markets, and is currently Chief Executive Officer with alpha-En, a publicly traded clean technology company focused on enabling next generation battery technologies by developing high purity lithium products.

Winters brings experience and expertise in global equity and fixed income markets, and is currently an Executive Vice President and the General Manager of a holistic investor relations consulting firm Alpha IR Group’s New York City office.

Terence Cryan, Chairman of the Board of OPT, welcomed the new Board members saying that their strong experience would help OPT execute its business strategy.

OPT is a New Jersey-based wave energy developer that has designed their proprietary PowerBuoy technology based on a modular design.
