Eyemouth Harbor Trust has just released a video about the ongoing dredging operations in the harbor.
Hopper barge MV Sandsend and dredging pontoon ‘Saltwick’ have been brought in to complete the dredging operations in the entrance area and ‘the canyon’.
Uniquely positioned on Scotland’s south-east coast, the Eyemouth Harbor was last dredged in 2014.
This year’s dredging project started on April 22nd and will end in the next couple of days.
During the project, a berth in Gunsgreen Basin will be reserved for the dredging vessels.
