James Fisher Subsea Excavation (JFSE) will support EMAS AMC at the Bouri oil field with post-lay trenching and backfilling services during the replacement of a floating storage offloading (FSO) vessel off the coast of Libya.
EMAS AMC is responsible for the engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning of new offshore facility, FSO Gaza, at the Bouri field.
The field, located 120 km from the Libyan shore, is operated by Italian oil company Eni with the National Corporation of Libya as a partner.
JFSE’s T4000 and TwinR2000 tools will carry out excavation on the flexible flowline, which will be installed from a platform to a subsea structure.

The project is the company’s first in offshore Libya as it focuses on expanding its global footprint.
