Protean Wave Energy has halted trading on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) pending the upcoming announcement regarding the Port of Bunbury demo project.
The Australian wave energy developer requested a trading halt on May 16 pending a release of an announcement regarding the company’s demonstration wave farm at the Port of Bunbury, Western Australia.
The trading halt is requested until the release of the announcement, or prior to the commencement of trading on May 18, 2016.
Protean installed the first wave energy buoy at Port of Bunbury early in May. The multi-buoy demonstration wave farm will be deployed progressively, with the remaining two buoys expected to be installed in the upcoming weeks.
