Global Renewables Shipbrokers (GRS) has appointed Francois Richard as head of its new office in Paris, France.

“The expansion in France provides us with many new opportunities and is a major step in our growth strategy,” said GRS Managing Partner Matthias Mross.

From Paris, Francois Richard is expected to further strengthen the relationships he has developed in his activities as market analyst for Marine Renewables Energy and tap into his expertise as an international business developer in the offshore sector.

“We are keen and look forward to support the French offshore market now even more closely,” said GRS Managing Partner Philippe Schoenefeld.

GRS is a shipbroker specializing in chartering, purchasing and sales of offshore tonnage and equipment used in renewable energy projects. The company also offers customized market analyses and market reports.

Headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, GRS also has a UK office set up in Aberdeen, Scotland.
