Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard – part of United Shipbuilding Corporation – will, next Wednesday, launch the second of three 1000 m³ trailing suction hopper dredgers for Rosmorport.
The dredger, to be named Kronshlot, was designed by Damen Shipyards Gorinchem, with the working design documentation provided by the Volga-Caspian Design Bureau.
The three TSHDs (Sommers, Kronshlot and Kadosh) will be stationed at seaports of Ust-Luga, Big Port St. Petersburg and Port of Tuapse.
All three vessels, to be equipped with the necessary equipment suitable for the climatic conditions of the region, will have an outboard multifunctional submersible groundwater pump type “DOP 200”.
