Denmark’s Kosan Crisplant said on Monday it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the world’s largest corporate buyer of LNG, Kogas to work on LNG bunkering technology and pilot projects.
According to Kosan Crisplant, the two companies will cooperate on developing the technologies related to LNG bunkering facility and advanced LNG bunkering technologies including boil off gas treatment and small-scale LNG.
In addition, Kosan Crisplant and South Korea’s Kogas agreed to join forces in performing pilot and dem0 projects for LNG-fueled ships, LNG bunkering and small-scale LNG logistics business using ISO LNG tank container.
The two companies jointly hosted an LNG bunkering seminar in order to exchange information and present existing bunkering concepts.
