PT.OSI (Offshore Services Indonesia) has started phase 1 of the 3-year technical services contract, awarded by oil & gas company Pertamina ONWJ, for the provision of DP II saturation diving DSV and all associated services.

The diving support vessel (DSV) Crest Odyssey 1 has departed Jakarta after completion of mobilization and has proceeded to ONWJ (Offshore North West Java) field.

The vessel comes with a 12-man integral saturation diving system & air diving system, 3-man bell, 100T heave compensated knuckle boom crane, work class ROV, survey spread and associated project personnel.

According to the company, the first campaign, estimated around 100 days, consisting of: anode installation, SPM subsea hose change out, hot-tap, pipeline sectional replacement, clamp repair and other associated IRM work.

PT.OSI managing director, Bob Estridge , said: “Having been the incumbent saturation diving DSV contractor for the same client from 2013 to 2014 with the Crest Odyssey 1, and having carried out 2 successful campaigns during this period in the same area of operations, PT.OSI was well placed for this 3-year technical services contract for provision of DP II saturation DSV and all associated services.”
