China Oilfield Services Limited (COSL) said on Monday it has been awarded a contract for 3D seismic acquisition in the Far East.
COSL, which currently operates a geophysical fleet of five 3D vessels, intends to send its 78 meters long, 6-streamer vessel HAI YANG SHI YOU 718 to carry out the survey.
The seismic project is scheduled for late June, when COSL’s fleet is leaving for operations in this reason. Duration of the project was not reported.
The company did not disclose the client nor the commercial terms between the parties.
