U.S. weekly rig count unchanged

Weekly offshore rig count in the U.S. remained flat at 21 active units, Baker Hughes informed in its report on Friday.

BHI Rig Count: U.S. +6 to 414 rigs U.S. Rig Count is up 6 rigs from last week to 414, with oil rigs up 3 at 328, gas rigs up 3 to 85, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 1.

U.S. Rig Count is down 445 rigs from last year at 859, with oil rigs down 307, gas rigs down 136, and miscellaneous rigs down 2.

U.S. Offshore Rig Count is 21, unchanged from last week, and down 8 rigs year over year.

BHI Rig Count: Canada -2 to 41 rigs Canadian Rig Count is up 24 rigs from last week to 65, with oil rigs up 16 to 29, gas rigs up 8 to 36.

Canadian Rig Count is down 62 rigs from last year at 127, with oil rigs down 39, and gas rigs down 23.
