Carnegie Wave Energy has received recognition for its efforts in providing sustainable and clean energy at the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce Bu siness Awards.
The Australian wave energy developer has won the 2016 Sustainability Initiative Award, which recognises companies or individuals who have implemented initiatives in the field of sustainability.
This year, the Fremantle Business Awards showcased finalists in 12 categories.
The categories reflect the current economic landscape of Fremantle, Western Australia, covering sectors from the marine industry through to hospitality and tourism.
The Fremantle Business Awards were first awarded in 1998 when the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce celebrated 125 years of service to the business community with the inaugural Business of the Year Award.
The event was held on June 10, 2016, at the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle, WA.
