Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult has appointed Thomas Arensbach, former Head of Offshore Projects UK at Siemens, as Senior Business Development Manager.
Thomas has previously worked in the offshore renewables industry, including Gamesa, A2Sea, Statkraft UK, UPC Energy Management and Vestas Offshore Wind.
Over his career he has been involved at various stages of projects installed totalling 3,750 MW, ORE Catapult informed.
Thomas Arensbach said: “It is an exciting time in the development of offshore wind, wave and tidal energy in the UK, with huge potential to be realised over the coming years as we look to the next decade. With its world-leading test and demonstration facilities and deep technical expertise, the Catapult is at the heart of realising that opportunity.”
