Peru’s only liquefaction and export facility at Pampa Melchorita recently dispatched a cargo of LNG to Spain.
According to the shipping data from state-owned Perupetro, the facility dispatched a cargo on June 18 aboard the 145,000 cbm Methane Rita Andrea.
This is the 106th cargo shipped to Spain from the Peruvian facility, however, it is the first time, Methane Rita Andrea loaded at the plant.
The exact destination of the vessel has not been confirmed by Perupetro.
With the latest shipment, Peru’s 4.4 mtpa liquefaction plant dispatched 335 cargoes in total, since it began operations in June 2010.
